It's six days before Christmas and I am starting to think about my resolutions for next year. There are plenty of good things I want/need to do but now since I'm really thinking about it...it doesnt sound that appealing anymore. This is why I am starting this blog. I decided maybe if I had some readers who read what I was going to do I might become more inclined to follow through with the resolutions.
I think I am going to break down my resolutions into headings. That just might be easier. Green means I have already done this.
Finances
Open a savings account
Just to get a head start yesterday I opened a savings account. This is a big thing for me. I love to spend money just as soon as I get it. I even made a budget for myself about two weeks ago but saving money in your regular checking account just does not cut it.
Save $25 out of each paycheck to be put into savings
Put $10 of each paycheck on my credit card bill
Pay $5 of each paycheck to CFNC on my student loans
Check my credit score (not just the report)
Health
Limit myself to two soft drinks a week (im not giving up orange kool-aid or unsweet tea though!)
Exercise 3 times a week for an hour or more
Just overall lose some weight - I wish I could lose atleast 10pds a month but yeah....
Life in General
Do one new thing a week that I havent done before (this should get interesting)
See one new movie a week I havent seen before ( I dont plan on renting just borrowing so you better watch out if you own a collection of movies)
Volunteer 1 day out of each month at the Tryon Palace greenhouse
Join the Tryon Palace Circle of Friends
Join the NB Historical Society
Become a lacto-ovo-vegetarian
Rent my own place
Well I think thats about it...but I might be adding more to this list, I dont know, I never know. Ha!

Two things...well...three actually.
1. I hope you can accomplish everything you set out to do.
2. You know I have a decent movie collection, so feel free to borrow.
3. I'm a little offended...you have a link to the SJ...but not the Indie Register?!?
